‘I’m telling someone to thank these people for humbly taking pictures with me and my son’ A.J Slaughter attracts attention when taking pictures with Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic
At first glance, it appeared to be a typical photo of Slaughter posing with the two most promising EuroBasket 2022 players. After Poland overcame Slovenia, many people joked that Slaughter was the tournament’s final man standing.
Slaughter captured images with two cameras. Now, only he has a chance to win the ME – Sports Report medal.
However, for Slaughter, this image holds far greater meaning.
“Man, I was telling someone to thank these guys for being humble enough to take a picture with me and my son,” Slaughter told BasketballNews. “I’d like to set aside my pride; I’ve never played against such folks. I’d like to throw aside my pride and beg those individuals for the image.”
