Rams have received several trade REQUESTS for WR Cooper Kupp.
Two star wide receivers have already been traded this season after the Las Vegas Raiders dealt Davante Adams to the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns shipped Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills.
Those two moves have created some speculation about whether the Los Angeles Rams might consider trading Cooper Kupp if they continue losing and he would reportedly have a market if they decide to.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, teams have called the Rams to inquire about the availability of Kupp before the Nov. 5 trade deadline.Cooper Kupp Stats, News and Video – WR | NFL.com
Rapoport reported that “plenty of teams” looking for wide receiver help have Kupp on their list, and understandably so. He’s an All-Pro receiver on a team that’s limped to a 1-4 record, so it’s not outrageous to think the Rams might consider trading him if they don’t believe they can be a championship contender by the trade deadline.
As Rapoport notes, Kupp has a $7.5 million roster bonus due in March and another $5 million bonus in 2026, which isn’t guaranteed, so the acquiring team would have to manage those costs.
This probably won’t even be a conversation if the Rams go on a run and win their next three games before the deadline, but Rapoport says the “calls could accelerate” if they lose their next two to the Raiders and Vikings.
