With his 138th triple-double, Nikola Jokić ties Magic Johnson for third-most career triple-doubles in NBA history
Nikola Jokic made history once again by recording his 138th career triple-double, tying him with the legendary Magic Johnson on the NBA’s all-time list.
This remarkable achievement adds another milestone to Jokic’s already illustrious career. Now, only Oscar Robertson, with 181 triple-doubles, and Russell Westbrook, who holds the record with 200, stand ahead of him.
In his latest game, Jokic showcased his signature all-around skills, finishing with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Despite his incredible performance, it wasn’t enough to secure a win for his team.
As the Denver Nuggets suffered a narrow loss against the Los Angeles Clippers. Nevertheless, Jokic’s individual brilliance continues to shine, further solidifying his place among NBA legends.
This season Jokic has been averaging 29.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 10.7 assists.
